Maliyah was a loving single mom to a handsome 2 year old named Leland. Being a single mom is tough, and being young trying to do it makes it tougher at times. Maliyah worked for me for 4-5 years, before I left to work for another company. During that time she would be working 50+ hours a week. She would work extra shifts or at other locations,  to ensure that she was able to provide for her son. 
Maliyah passed away unexpectedly on Friday March 24th, 2023 at the age of 23. She has left behind her son and Her Mother. I am hoping to raise money to assist in her funeral expenses. As well as help care for Leland at this time.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 31, 2023 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Bowery Cemetery in Memphis. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) to help the family with final expenses.
