My name is Rhea Dingding Kuhnert and I am fundraising for my mama who has been confined in one of the hospitals in the Philippines due to stroke.  She was in the ICU for almost a week, was in coma and had an emergency head surgery called decompressive craniectomy).The emergency surgery that took 5hours helped her woke up after 12 hours being in recovery mode.  The team of surgeons took a part of her scalp to air out her brain (to reduce the  swelling that affected her middle cerebral artery). She is currently awake and fighting but sadly the left side of her body is paralyzed. She needs to stay in the hospital for we don’t know until when.  
She is currently doing a series of OT and PT to re-learn all her skills in eating, talking, and moving her body. She has lost the ability to function normally and she depends on my siblings to take care of her needs. 

So, I am humbly asking for your help to spare any amount that you can. All the proceeds will be used for my mama’s medical expenses. 

As one of her children, my mama is a hardworking and loving person. She was a health worker volunteer in our town in the Philippines before she had a stroke.
