Hey Guys!

My brother was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis last October.

  He has been unable to work since the beginning of February.  

His last visit with the neurologist, we received some pretty harsh news. His health is declining, and this disease is progressing a lot faster than originally anticipated. 

Being unable to work, he has lost his health insurance.  We are working with the hospital to hopefully reduce his cost of treatments.  His first infusion is set for June 30th, and will be once a week for 4 weeks, then 6 weeks later he will have to have more. It is really dependent on how his body reacts to the infusions.  

I am reaching out for help to pay for some of his expenses, as he is behind on everything,  and has nothing left of his life savings.  He lives 8 hours away from the neurological team that is treating him for this rare disease.

I live in the state where he will be, but don't have extra space where he can have some privacy or peace and quiet to rest between weekly infusions. I will be scheduling my job around taking him to the cancer center, and the following days as needed to help take care of him so my hours will be reduced, and I've been trying to help him as much financially as I possibly can. I've pretty much exhausted all avenues,  so I am here asking for help.
