Our 7 year old daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy in Feb 2026. She was just hospitalized March 9th due to breakthrough seizures that caused her to lose consciousness briefly and fall 5 times in less then 24hrs. After continuous EEG monitoring we learned that she shows all signs of Jeavons Syndrome with Eyelid Myoclonia which is a rare epilepsy. We applied to have her case reviewed by the Mayo Clinic and they got back to us in 2 hrs due to the rarity of the epilepsy. Please help us get our girl to the Mayo Clinic!! Mom and dad are both teachers. While trying to recover from the medical bills from her last hospital stay we just can’t do this without help!

Also identical twin sister will be undergoing testing in the next month as well due to the potential connection to genetics.
