Hi, my name is Caitlyn, and I'm reaching out for help during one of the most difficult times in my life. I live with multiple complex chronic illnesses that significantly impact my daily life and physical functions. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Severe Gastroparesis, MALS, Ankylosing Spondylitis, MCAS, and CRPS. Recently, I had to undergo surgery to have a feeding tube placed, and since then, I've been hospitalized four times due to complications. Each hospitalization has added to an already overwhelming stack of medical bills.

While I have insurance, it unfortunately doesn’t cover many essential healthcare needs—such as dental and vision care—that are necessary to maintain my health and quality of life. On top of that, I'm now managing a backlog of unpaid medical expenses from my prior insurance, and struggling to afford basic necessities that support my overall well-being.

Due to my limited income, I’m unable to take care of prior bills and I’m humbly asking for your support. Any amount you’re able to give would go directly toward medical bills, dental and vision care, and critical health-related expenses not covered by insurance (such as medical equipment, ongoing dental & vision care, treatments, or medications/supplements). For example: I was just told that I need a rollator (walker), but the specific type I need is not covered by my insurance, so I need to pay for it out of pocket (which will cost several hundred dollars). Some of my feeding tube supplies are not covered (such as my protein supplement, vitamins, and sterile water - and more), and I need these items to survive. I have been paying for them out of pocket since February.
