On September 29th,  Melinda Squires experienced the unimaginable — the sudden and heartbreaking loss of her beloved husband of 43 years, Lloyd.

Lloyd was more than a husband; he was Melinda’s best friend, confidant, and unwavering support through over four decades of love and shared life.  His kindness, quiet strength, and big heart touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His passing has left a profound void in Melinda’s life, and she is now navigating not only immense grief but also unexpected financial challenges.

This fundraiser has been created to support Melinda during this incredibly difficult time. The funds raised will go directly toward:

-Immediate living costs and household bills

-Emotional recovery 

-Any unforeseen expenses that arise as she adjusts to life without Lloyd

For 43 years, Melinda and Lloyd built a life together filled with love, laughter, loyalty and birds.  Melinda has always taken care of God's feathered friends &  shown up for others in need — now it’s our turn to show up for her.
