Support Our Father [Ricky Lee Barfell Sr.] End-of-Life Care & Arrangements
Story:
It is with a heavy heart that we share our beloved father, [Ricky Barfell Sr.] is nearing the end of his life. Right now, he is fighting end-stage liver failure and his kidneys are no longer functioning properly. Complicating this, he is dealing with severe fluid buildup in his abdomen, which has unfortunately developed a serious E. coli infection. The hospital team gave him 5-7 days left to live.
His medical team(Hospice) is here one time  daily doing everything they can to keep him comfortable, but the physical toll of these combined illnesses is overwhelming. As we focus on being by his side during this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for your help to cover his arraignments, showing and upcoming end-of-life expenses. As his wishes He’d like to be buried by his favorite uncle in Bronson Michigan which is a six hour road trip. 
Any donations made will go directly toward easing the financial burden so we can give our father [Ricky] the peaceful rest and memorial he deserves. If you are unable to donate at this time, we completely understand and simply ask that you share our fundraiser with others. We are so grateful for your prayers, love, and support.

Watching him go through this has been heartbreaking. We are currently focusing all our energy on ensuring he is out of pain and surrounded by love. Because we were not fully prepared for the heavy costs of medical care and end-of-life arrangements, we have set up this give a hand fundraiser to ask our community, friends and family for support.
