On January 20, 2026, we lost someone truly unforgettable. Michael Scott Vaden Jr., only 46 years old, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a group of people whose lives he touched for more than two decades. To know Michael was to know laughter, loyalty, and a heart that never hesitated to show up when someone needed him.

Michael was the kind of friend who made every room lighter. He was fun-loving, dependable, and always the first to lend a hand—no matter the time nor the task. I was blessed to have him for the short time that I did but many of you were lucky enough to have him for many years even decades. No matter how long we knew him the impact he made will stay with us forever.

As his family navigates this heartbreaking loss, his mother is now facing the heavy burden of funeral expenses.
