My mom was in the ICU for about a month, waiting and hoping for heart surgery that could save her life. After all that time, the doctors told us she wouldn’t survive the anesthesia, and she was sent home on hospice care. Everything happened so fast, and it’s been incredibly hard to process. I work part-time and have my own health issues, my brother is in prison, and my sister is also going through a lot. We’re doing our best to support each other, but it’s been overwhelming emotionally and financially.

Now, I’m faced with the responsibility of arranging my mom’s cremation and covering her medical expenses. I simply don’t have the funds to do this on my own, and the thought of my mom having to wait at the funeral home to be cremated is heartbreaking. Myself and my siblings would be so grateful for any help during this time. Any little bit will help us honor my mom and take care of these final expenses.
