My mom was 93 and passed 4 days ago. My family has all died in less than 7 yrs before. My daughter and I were her only caregivers. She had severe dementia. It was such a painful thing to see her just lose herself. We never left her side. And she died with a smile on her face. Mentally, this had been a nightmare. My daughter had to quit her job to help me. I have severe PTSD after losing my daughter. Her last caretaker managed to EMPTY her bank account. So there is nothing to help us pay for her funeral, or her bills. We can't sell her property because she just died. All we do is stress and cry. We're both in therapy. But mom was such a big part of our lives, we're just devastated 😪😪.Â
