My big sister Debbie Everitt Welker was diagnosed with Lung Cancer back in November 2025 and it's been a rough road ever since. She hasn't worked since November and her health insurance has run out. She finally was able to get on disability but unfortunately won't receive her first check til June and of course an eviction notice will come before then.  She has spent every cent she had saved up and now her prescriptions are too high. I want my sister to focus on treatment and fighting this rather than stressing and worrying everyday about having a place to live. Chemo has become harder and harder with each treatment and that alone is enough for her to deal with. I'm doing everything in my power to help her but at the same time went from working full time to only working part-time because I'm driving back and fourth from Louisiana to Arkansas to be with her.
