Hi Everyone! I have officially moved to North Carolina and am excited for this new chapter in life. Marquis will be starting high school, and I will be beginning my 12th year of teaching. Since we moved 1,680 miles away, we packed only the bare minimum. As a result, I donated most of my classroom supplies and items. Next week, I will start setting up my 3rd-grade classroom. On average, teachers spend $100 to $500 to prepare their classrooms. I will be teaching at a Title 1 School, where a high percentage of students receive free or reduced lunch and typically come from low-income households. I am raising funds to help purchase classroom supplies and materials to create a fun and engaging learning environment that these students deserve.
