My husband Dave went into kidney failure and a foot infection from diabetes on Dec 23rd 2025.  We were donated a hospital bed, wheelchair and a handicap ramp in October and can't be more thankful to Cabell Wayne of the blind, Cabell Hospital and so many more wonderful people. 

 Medicines , hospital and Dr visit bills are stacking up. 
I work over nights and make enough for the car insurance and utilities. 

Dave and I met 18 years ago in a video game. We have had some great adventures in game and in real life. He is my whole heart! 56 years old and so much more life to live. Dave's diabetic injuries started in 2021 with detached retina in both eyes which left him with very little sight. He has severe neuropathy in both feet/legs which makes it hard to walk on top of his vision loss. I don't want our adventures to end here. I love this man!  

Currently , we are learning how to operate the dialysis machine you see in this picture so we can do this at home. it's a 6 week course. This machine is $15,000 plus supplies. 

Dave needs Dialysis 4 days a week! The cost of a new kidney is over $400,000! With insurance is still just over $100k. Right now, we are just trying to pay the bills that are coming in. 

We are just starting this journey and the bills are stacking up. We understand that things are tight for everyone. Anything helps .. $1 , $10 , $100 or more.

Anything you can do to help will ease some pressure. This is very overwhelming physically and financially. 
This might sound like any other sad story, but he's all I have. If my kidney will match for him, I will take that step. but the prep , wait and after transplant medications is still very expensive.
