Hi everyone, Shannon and I are at a loss and need our village. Omie is very sick, on life support. I am with her and Shannon is 3 hours away at home with everyone else. Any support, even just good vibes is so greatly appreciated. We're not exactly sure what we need, but bills are coming due and everyone needs to eat. Anything and everything is amazing. We never ask for much, but right now we need support.

Omie was life flighted to Randalls children's Hospital in PDX on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. She continues to be on life support and fight hard everyday to improve. There is no time line on her recovery. As of now the hospital is letting her decide the time line. She is very very very sick with pnumonia and HPMV. The HPMV seems to be her biggest battle right now. The virus is 3x worse than RSV from what I understand and her lungs cant handle it. She has become extremely malnourished as her body seems to have forgotten what to do with food. She is on day two of TPN into her heart for nourishment. The hospital has chosen to keep her pretty sedated to help conserve her nourishment and help her not pull out her tubes, IVs and PICC line. 

Unfortunately Shannon and I can not both be with her due to life and Shannon trying to work as much as possible while processing the scariest thing we've ever been through with our tiny red. 

We're not even sure what we need, we just know it's time to ask for support. Even just a prayer, a vibe, a candle. Just please help send all the vibes to our baby. There is a high chance today that Omie will be taken into surgery to place some more permanent tubes to help her in the future.
