I know it’s quite close to Christmas, but it’s been awfully difficult for many to even think about the upcoming holiday. As many of you know, my nephew spends quite a bit of time at Yale for treatment. While he is still cancer free 🫶🏼, there are still many hospital visits, stays, and procedures he must attend to maintain his treatment. While returning from a procedure a few days ago, my sister literally had to turn the car around, and drive back..this time not to the Children‘s Hospital, but to the ER for another family member. This all has happened so quickly that i do not want to disclose the information surrounding the visit- but that it is Tony (Hannah, Alana & Lia’s dad), and he is ok and recovering at this time. He is expected to remain for at LEAST another 3 days for tests and monitoring. 
Once you leave the parking garage, another trip back is another fee to get out. My sister has to make this trip back and forth every day, for at least the next 3- and already has been for the last 4. Sometimes the trips are more than once per day, and several hours at a time. I am trying to work with the hospital on a more affordable solution, but in the meantime, Christmas is still FIVE DAYS AWAY and they could use any help you can spare. There are 3 other kids in the home, now down to one income, for at least another week.  If anyone can spare anything, we’d truly appreciate the support. If all you can do is share with someone that might be able to help- that is tremendous.
