About this fundraiser

Hi. I'm so grateful for anyone taking the time to read my story. I've been down on my luck for awhile and didn't know what else to do.

Since the pandemic things have only been downhill for me from there. Our landlord at the time raised our rent by triple, causing my girls and I to find another place to live. We could not afford anything and my credit score wasn't ideal for any loans. We are living in a 5th wheel camper, thankfully my grandmother helped co-sign, which is the only help she would give us. Work has slowed down and children father's job stopped completely so any help he provided has stopped. My credit cards are drained because a camper is nothing like a house and repairs are a constant for us. I manage to make the minimum payments so I can build my credit back up. But as soon as I see a glimmer of hope. Something happens and we get knocked down again. We have applied for gov help. But they only approved us for $7 in Food stamps. We did get Medicaid, luckily so the girls and I can at least have some kind of healthcare. The girls receive free lunch at school which is a good send.

I don't let my girls see the struggle but they know. My girls are old enough to see. But I continue to try and give them a childhood. It's so hard for me to this. I never thought I would be here today.

Any kind of help received will go directly to the banks for credit cards and loans. Buy some groceries to fill the house. Just to for once feel content and not constantly give my last just to barely survive another week.

If you read my story, thank you. I do know a lot of people are struggling. I'm not an exception. But if there is a chance to finally see some kind of light at the end of the tunnel, I've got to at least try. I owe it to my kids to keep trying even if it is asking for help.

Thank you.
