Hi, my name is Jill.  This is extremely difficult for me as I'm the person who always helps everyone else.  I am a traveling Registered Nurse.  Typically I do not have any issues with money.  Last December I found myself in a very confusing and difficult situation (which was no fault of my own). I had traveled and worked very hard for 4 years building my credit and finances, I was in a great place in my life. Not just financially, but I was healthy and happy. An unfortunate situation left me jobless and destitute.  It  drained all of my savings and kicked off 8 months of one bad event after another. Leading me to the position I find myself in today. I was unable to work for almost 4 months, every contract I accepted through my agency was a nightmare and didn't end well, my bank account is completely drained to the point where I was not able to keep up with my credit card payments or any if my regular bills (I purchased a used vehicle 2+ years ago for my youngest son which I have been paying for) and I can no longer afford. I, myself, had to purchase a vehicle for myself as well as my old vehicle was no longer safe to be driving all over the United States to work. Since losing all of my savings, my credit cards are all now in the credit bureau and the credit score I had worked so hard to increase is now back down in the mid 400's. My new truck broke down recently (the rear end is gone) and I was hospitalized with a spontaneous blood clot in my right lung. I am now on blood thinners indefinitely until the specialists can determine why this is taking place in my body. I am in the process of landing a new contract and I thank God that I have a dear friend and colleague who is willing to help me with transportation and to just be there for me. In the meantime I cannot fix my vehicle, I cannot pay the loan on either my son's vehicle or mine, I cannot pay for the insurance and I am in arrears for all of it. The credit union closed down my account and I have lost 2 contracts due to the fact that I cannot get to the facility.  I have been trying to pick up shifts through a per diem nurse platform but unfortunately I am having difficulty finding transportation to get to these facilities as well. I have BEGGED numerous people in my family for help with possibly renting a vehicle or to just occasionally borrow their vehicles but NONE OF THEM will help me. I have always been there for my family, friends and patients.  Anything anyone ever needed or requested I went out of my way to get for them. I did everything in my power to make things easier for them.  From purchasing washers/dryers for my niece, a vehicle for my youngest son, clothes/furniture for my nieces children, a $3500 laptop for my great niece when she started college 2 years ago,, a dryer for my mom (I would do anything for my mom anyway ❤). I am the type if person who would do and give anything to anyone who is in need. That's just who I am and partially why I became a nurse. It fills me with joy and warmth when I can make someone else happy or make their lives that much better. I always donate to 2 charities (St. Jude and ASPCA, but gave had to place a hold on these which really saddens me). Now that I am in need I just cannot get the help that I need. I don't understand. I am simply only asking for assistance with my vehicle and insurance.  I am almost 2 months behind on my vehicle payment ($723/month), the insurance ($300), and my vehicle repairs ($2400). I was hoping to get a bit of assistance with the setup process for my next contract (this includes the rent and travel expense of getting there). But if anyone could help me with just my vehicle payment and repairs I would be FOREVER GRATEFUL.
