Hi my name is Meka. Right now my family is in desperate need of help. I lost my job, my apartment, and for a while my family was sleeping in a tent in a park. It has gotten so hot and hard for me to keep my family safe and healthy. I feel like a failure and like I'm letting them down. My children are currently without me and staying with other members of my family until I can provide for them. My family couldn't take me and my husband so we are staying in separate homeless shelters. It hurts so much not being with them and not being able to provide. I have reached out to different organizations for assistance but they said it might be weeks before they can help us. I am asking, no begging for help to reunite my family.  If we can come up with money for a hotel room for a few weeks until we can get the assistance from the other organizations it would really save over lives. I know we are strangers, you don't know me or my family, but please know I'm a mother who just wants to be with and provide for her family. I fell on hard times and I don't know where else to turn. If you can't help us just pray for us. That is a blessing in itself.
