My family of 3 (oldest is in his own place) have had a very hard year from day one in 2025. We have lost a substantial amount of income, loss of a loved one, losing another loved one as we speak, we've drained our savings, maxed out the small amount of credit we have and utilized every possible resource. We've been turned away by family, friends, churches, charities and many other organizations. We don't have anyone to lean on during these trying times. We have several obstacles preventing a second income that we need funding to overcome. We've had health problems, cancer scares, illness and injury. We just need a hand up so we can get back on our feet and back to where we were. 2025 has knocked us down at least a dozen times. We're facing eviction, vehicle repossession, loss of private properties etc if we can't raise these funds. This is humbling, embarrassing and terrifying all at once. We reall  don't want to have our youngest in a shelter for fear of how that could affect her. She is an amazing young girl and we fear she'll lose her light. We've always been able to overcome and keep a roof over our families heads, but we're in too deep this time. We need $6,100 to pay past due and current rent, roughly $1900 to catch up on other bills we're behind on and the remainder would be used to repair/register our car for me to be able to safely/legally drive it for employment purposes, clothing for job search/employment (I've lost a significant amount of weight and no longer have clothing other than sweatpants/hoodies), and to properly insure/maintain our truck etc. I never thought we'd be in a position to ask strangers for a hand up, but I've shoved what little pride I have to the side to do whatever is necessary to save my family from losing everything. We've also experienced food insecurity, but we were able to get help from a very dear loved one for that. We don't even know if we'll be able to give our beautiful children a Christmas this year.
