I'm starting this fundraiser for my mother, who needs a power lift recliner to sleep in. The chair she relies on is broken, and she did not even tell me. That is the kind of person she is: incredibly kind, selfless, and always thinking of someone else before herself. She is the most deserving person in this world and has always done everything for everyone else. When I realized what was going on, it broke my heart to know she has not had a comfortable place to sleep. 

 Right now, this is urgent because her sleep is being affected every night. I tried to let her sleep in the bed, and it took us an hour to get her out of it. She needs a power lift recliner so she has somewhere to sleep and can be more comfortable. The funds from this fundraiser will also help with food, because she has certain diet restrictions and finances have hit a snag this month for personal reasons. 

 I am also so proud of my mom for the hard work she has been putting into her health. She has been on a weight loss journey and has recently lost 42 pounds. I want to do this not only because she needs better sleep right now, but also because she deserves support and care in return for all the kindness she gives to others and because she has always done everything for everyone else.
