Randy jackson is a precious young man who has autism and several major medical issues.  He's been in and out of the hospital for most of his life.  He has been in the hospital every month since Christmas and this last admission began August 7th 2024. He's had 6 surgeries and multiple complications and has currently been in the hospital at children's hospital of san antonio for 48 days. I am the sole provider for our family and I've missed so much work since December. My job just placed me on LOA and my FMLA will begin tomorrow.  We are so far behind on our mortgage,  utilities and living expenses.  I'm afraid we may lose our home. This is not something I am familiar with doing as I've always been able to keep us afloat when either of my 2 special needs children have been hospitalized for long periods of time.  However I have exhausted all savings and am in need of help to take care of them. I'm not sure how much longer randy will be in the hospital but it will be anywhere from another week to a month. When he is able to be discharged i will not be able to return to work until his intestines regain ability to work. His surgeons said it will be months and he will be going home with his picc line and TPN. His TPN(nutrients/nutrition by iv) will ve run 24 hours a day. He also has a gj tube for feeding but it can't be used for a few months as well as the fact he won't be allowed to eat anything by mouth except clear liquids until his intestines begin to function properly from all the surgeries he's had this last month and a half.  I am and will be his primary caregiver while he receives his TPN and feeds by tube. Any donations we receive will be used to keep our living expenses paid as well as any medical supplies and transportation to the hospital for any following appointments.  His doctors are 3.5 hours away from our home. We truly appreciate any assistance anyone can give.
