My best friend of over 30 yrs lost her husband unexpectedly this past week to cardiac arrest. She has been left with 5 boys to raise. Kelly has worked full-time her whole life to support her family. Her husband Bob, dealt with diabetes, which led to a kidney transplant over 20 yrs ago, and another transplant this past Feb. He then began to develop heart issues. He had been on disabilty for a long time, making him a stay at home dad and taking care of all of their kids. This family has given so much to the community of foster kids for the past 20+ yrs. They fostered over 15 kids and ended up adopting many of then. After finding out they could not have children of their own, I was a surrogate for them 21 yrs ago, giving them a baby boy to raise. I can't tell you or explain enough what a giving family they have been. Now I'm hoping everyone can help give back. Kelly was left with no money to even pay for the funeral, that is coming up this week. I have tried starting other fundraisers, but we aren't even near the amount we need.
