A young U.S. Air Force Airman answered the call of duty and left everything he loved behind.

Only one year into marriage and with a newborn baby in his arms, he was ordered to deploy to South Korea to serve his country. With tears in his eyes, he hugged his wife and infant son goodbye, knowing the sacrifice would be heavy—but his commitment to duty came first.

For seven long months, this young father worked tirelessly from overseas to complete every form, document, and approval needed to reunite his family. At last, the moment they prayed for arrived: permission for his wife and baby to join him in South Korea.

But now, another challenge stands in their way.

The Air Force has already completed one relocation move for them from England and will not cover a second move. That means the cost of transporting his wife, newborn child, and their remaining belongings overseas now falls entirely on this young family.

To make matters harder, one of the grandparents is preparing to make the exhausting 24-hour journey to help the young mother travel safely with her baby—flying there and back simply so she won’t have to face it alone.

This family has already sacrificed so much for our freedom. They just want to be together again.
