Ricardo’s passing has deeply affected everyone who knew him. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Custodia, and their two children, who are now facing an unimaginable loss. Over the past year, Ricardo bravely battled diabetes, which led to the amputation of his foot. Despite these challenges, he was able to return home for a few months, bringing hope to his family. Unfortunately, his health took another turn, and he required open heart surgery. Although the initial surgery went well, Ricardo faced further complications and had to undergo a second open heart surgery. During this time, he coded, but the doctors were able to bring him back. The family endured months of uncertainty and worry, hoping for his recovery. 

After a brief period at home, Ricardo was hospitalized again due to trouble breathing. He was scheduled for a CAT scan but suffered a heart attack before it could take place. The loss of Ricardo has left his loved ones heartbroken and struggling to cope. Sadly, Ricardo did not have insurance or savings to help with the expenses that come with such a loss. 

We are asking for support to help cover funeral expenses, medical bills, food, and rent for Custodia and their two children. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference for this family as they navigate this difficult time. We are grateful for any support during this very difficult time we are facing.
