Dear Friends,
All of us learned in the last few weeks that we have an issue with our building. God has blessed
us with this wonderful facility, and we need to be good stewards in what we have been given.
After learning about recent damage from water and deterioration to our roof, we contacted
roofers to come to Evergreen to assess the extent of damage.
We received the unwelcome news from each of the independent roofers that we need a new roof and some insulation replacement.
Based on that news, Session has received and reviewed three separate bids to address our roof
issues. The bids ranged from $40,000.00 to replace the damaged areas, to $100,000.00 to replace the entire roof. Thank you for placing your faith in the Lord and granting Session the ability to work out the details to meet this challenge. The timing for the damaged portion of the roof needs to be started immediately and the balance will be pursued based on our ability to raise funds in all the ways possible. That is where you come in.
As we all know, roof replacement is not in our budget this year, but we must now cover this
expense. I am writing to ask each member and friends of Evergreen Church to assist us in
meeting this obligation.
Please prayerfully consider how you can contribute to help in this endeavor. Every dollar,
however small or large, will be greatly appreciated. We have started a fund-us page. This will make it easier to contribute and remain anonymous if you wish.
Knowing of your faithfulness, I feel confident in thanking you in advance for helping us meet
