About this fundraiser

Hello.  Russell Scott Laderer Jr was in a serious , head-on motorcycle accident on June 10, 2024 in Salt lake City, Utah.  He was taken to Intermountain Medical Center Shock Trauma unit to treat his injuries. He suffered 13 broken bones: a compound left femur fracture that needed to be pinned, a right humerus fracture that also needed to be pinned. His left ankle had several broken bones and his right wrist as well, both of those needed surgery as well. He has several other broken bones (tibia, fibia, several in his foot, radius, ulna, nose). He had 4 surgeries to repair the breaks with pins and plates. He also suffered major blood loss and needed 5 units of blood. He transferred to the University of Utah Medical Center and is now in Mt. Olympus Rehabilitation Center for long term care where he will have intensive physical & occupational therapies.

Russell works at the Eccles theater where he is a stage hand, He also works other venues setting up concerts and shows. He is unable to work for a while and will have many medical bills (which we have no idea what they will actually cost)  as well has rent to continue to pay and other bills.

Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a significant difference. Thank you for your kindness and support.

Thank you!
