Hello! My name is Rylie. This trip is not only a once in a lifetime opportunity for me, but also a way to learn more about the world around me and different ways of being. Traveling is an invaluable way for me to develop new culinary skills and authenticity towards my goals for my future in a Culinary career. As a high school student traveling, this will help me gain new skills, cultural knowledge, and creative inspiration. Exposure to different food cultures and cooking techniques is essential for becoming a creative and innovative chef, which is something I would like to be. On this trip, we will be touring different places that will also educate me on the path of entrepreneurship that will support my goal of running my own business. These places will include: the Bank of England Museum, Museum of Brands and Advertising, Portobello Market, and the entrepreneurship hub of the London School of Economics. For somebody like me, who is interested in a culinary/ entrepreneur career, a visit to London that includes these many wonderful places would offer me a comprehensive education. With that being said, it would help me greatly if people would contribute to help me make this dream a reality.
