About this fundraiser

I'm a single mom and that saying "It takes a village"—well, I believe this is the truth. My son was diagnosed with severe ADHD and has been struggling in school. Imagine turning 14 and feeling all alone with little support from the school he attends, limited capabilities, and resources available to him to be more successful. Our brains don't even develop fully until we are 25; my son is a child. Due to unfortunate circumstances, he is now in trouble with the law and the costs to represent him are astronomical and seem unattainable. I am desperate to save my son before it's too late and he ends up as a statistic. No contribution is too small; anything helps.

I am asking for help from the community to help me raise legal fees to keep my son out of jail, he has never been in trouble with the law is not on drugs, doesnt consume alcohol he is just a confused kid trying to navigate this crazy world with a severe hinderance and doesnt even understand what is going on inside his brain. Please help my son get into the right programs for anger management and to receive therapy to learn coping mechanisms to address his anger and create healthy boundaries. I have tried to turn to my community resources, but I am unable to qualify because my income is too high. I am a middle-class citizen, a hardworking citizen, a tax-paying American, but most of all, I am a concerned mother. The courts want him institutionalized but that's not the answer. Please here a mothers plea, I'm crying out for help.

Taking care of our youth's mental health is extremely crucial for our community and nation. After all, the youth is our future. #SaveHayden #mentalhealthmatters #juvenilesupport #ADHD
