I’m reaching out to share the overwhelming challenges my daughter and I have been facing and to humbly ask for your support.

I want to shed light on a serious issue that many tenants face landlords who neglect the health and safety of their tenants in favor of profit. My daughter and I have been living in an apartment with mold exposure caused by improper maintenance, and I’ve also had to close my hair salon of 9 yrs. due to improper maintenance as well. These hazardous conditions have severely impacted our health, causing respiratory problems, migraines, brain fog, blurry vision, skin issues, and extreme fatigue & more. Despite repeatedly reporting the issues to management, they have remained negligent, only concerned with collecting rent rather than addressing properly these serious health risks and wanting us to vacate.

As a military woman, business owner, and hard working single mom trying to stay in school, this situation has been devastating. I’ve had to put my businesses on hold, and with our health declining, the financial burden has become overwhelming. It’s heartbreaking to see how little regard management has for our well-being, and I believe it’s important for others to be aware of the dangers of living in unsafe conditions that are often ignored by landlords who care more about money than the people living in their properties.
