Hi everyone,

 I am Karina’s mom, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your support.

Having begun her softball career when she was ten years old, my daughter Karina Montero is now 17 years old and about to embark on a pivotal phase of her life: the college recruitment season. As she prepares to graduate in 2026, her goal is to pursue a degree in computer science while continuing her softball career in college.

As a student-athlete, Karina is highly dedicated to both her academics and her game. She is the starting outfielder for the So Cal Choppers, a top-tier travel club in Southern California. During the summer of 2025, she will be performing in Colorado with the Choppers while also representing South America in the Triple Crown International Challenge. The opportunity for college recruiters to see her play is important.

We are doing this campaign to assist cover some of the expenses associated with the Colorado trip, such as transportation, accommodation, food, tournament fees, and camps. For her recruitment purposes, these events are important, and we want to make sure she has all the opportunities she needs to realize her goals.

To ensure that we have time to secure all reservations and registrations, we want to gather the money by early July 2025. Since costs are significant, any assistance you can provide, no matter how tiny, would be much appreciated.

Karina is a fantastic outfielder, but she's also a very kind, hardworking, and resilient young lady. If things become tough, she's the kind to keep going and do her best. You are helping a student-athlete who is deserving of a chance to succeed.
