I have a friend who is in need of help, and I'm posting this on her behalf because she's embarrassed about her situation. She is a single mother of two girls and 4 fur babies and was recently let go from her job. Without her income, she cannot afford to keep her kids in daycare or hire a babysitter, so she has been taking care of them on her own. Unfortunately, she doesn't know many people in the area, and I'm one of the few friends she has who work similar hours. While she is able to look for work from home with her kids, she would greatly appreciate the opportunity to go out and look for work without them. She is in need of help with rent, daycare, and daily essentials. She is a few months behind on rent and recently received an eviction notice, which she had to go to court for. She needs to pay her rent and utilities by the 5th but the landlord is going to work with her and give her until the 20th, so we are hoping to raise at least $8,000 by then. Her total that she needs to get everything paid off and have a fresh start and to be at least one month ahead, (in case she does not have the total amount needed by then), is about 10,500. I know this is a long shot, but I wanted to try and help her out. She does her best to do what she can for everyone else and I just feel for her. She is an amazing person and if anyone deserves a break right about now, it is her. She is trying to start her own business so that she can avoid putting her kids in daycare, but she needs some financial assistance to get started. Any donations or help would be greatly appreciated. We are grateful for anything and everything. This would mean so much to me if we could take care of her financial needs for her and her babies. She has been going through a lot recently. She and her boyfriend separated due to mental and physical abuse and she couldn't handle it anymore. She was sent to the hospital on a couple different occasions and ended up in the mental hospita to get her mind straight again so she could better care for her daughters and get the courage and strength to get her boyfriend out of the house. Seems when she did the right thing for her and her girls, everything ended up hitting all at once. Losing her job, daycare, the eviction notice, and the eviction court date. A separation as well. And we who know what it is like to deal with such a full plate all at once, know that it is painful, stressful, time consuming and rough. Anyway, anything that anyone can do to help them out would be amazing and very much appreciated. Thank you so very much for your time.
