This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write.

This morning at 9:22 AM, we lost my mom, Sonia. She fought so hard for so long. Ever since getting Covid in 2022, she’s been in and out of the hospital, going through more than most people could تحمل—but she never gave up. She kept pushing, kept fighting, and kept loving us through it all… until today, when her body just couldn’t fight anymore.

My mom was everything to us. She was a loving wife to my dad, the kind of mother everyone wishes they had, and the most amazing grandma to our son. The love she had for her grandson was something special—he was her world, and she made sure he knew it every single day.

The past few months have been especially hard. My dad had to leave his job to stay home and take care of her full-time. He did everything he could for the woman he loves. Because of that, and with no life insurance, we’re now facing something we weren’t prepared for—the cost of laying her to rest.

We don’t like asking for help, but right now, we truly need it.
