This fundraiser is to help get a group training session for my foster dog Woofy {George} A2724322 who is with Miami Dade Animal Services.
Originally we asked for sponsorship for group classes with another trainer. They were covered, but we were unable too attend for numerous reasons.
Since then, I have decided to work with Woofy and a trainer with 1:1 sessions.
In addition, I would like to bring Woofy to a group session with Eric And Capri the Pup. The group session is $250. The remaining money is for gas and tolls, as well as snackies for after the session as its recommended Woofy fasts the night before.
This would be a great opportunity for not only Woofy, but myself.f as well to gain more knowledge with dog behaviours and training. I have followed EricAndCapriThePup for over two or more years now. Cletus and I were left to fend for ourselves almost immediately upon his arrival to my home as a foster.
With little to no help from his rescue, we have continued to thrive by using resources as simple as YouTube and Instagram reels from trainers like Eric and a handful of other knowledgeable trainers. With those tips and tricks, Cletus and I have made a pretty good team helping several foster dogs as he's become the best DEMO dog I never knew I needed!!
Things as simple as leash walking can change the trajectory of a dogs future. Pulling on the leash can have a dog returned back to the shelter or a rescue within 24 hours. And sometimes all it takes is 10 minutes to correct this, depending on the dog.
That to me is worth helping!
Cletus' story and his journey continues to tell me I am on the right path and I need to continue learning as much as I can to continue helping as many dogs as I possibly can.
Thank you to the community who has helped Cletus continue to thrive. And for your continuous support in my endeavours to help more dogs. Without it, I would not have been able to help as many animals as I already have!
