Aloha, 

Dail is a native Hawaiian, born on the Island of Hawaii and later moved with her family to the Island of O’ahu where she lived with her family and now currently lives in Honolulu, Hawaii. 
 

Dail’s journey with heart issues began in 2016 when she had her first heart attack and I remember all of the times the paramedics came to her home. 
 

In 2022 Dail’s doctors sent her to Housto, Texas where she had a LVAD( left Ventricular assist device). This device is used to keep the heart pumping and be used as a bridge until it becomes necessary for a heart transplant. 

Unfortunately Dail’s heart condition has come the point in which her doctors have determined it is now time to take the next step which is a heart transplant.

When a heart does become available Dail will travel from Honolulu, HI to Palo Alto, California where the operation will be performed and aftercare begins. Dail has been told the recovery period will be from three to six months at which time she will stay at a recovery facility, and this is where you can help. 
 

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help Dail cover the costs of her ongoing medication, as well as her living expenses back home such as rent, utilities, car payment, and car insurance while she is in recovery.
