About this fundraiser

I had the honor and privilege of being raised by an amazingly anointed God fearing woman. Those who she touched knew her as Evon but I knew her as momma. There would be many days that I would wake up to her early morning prayer calls, that would last for what seemed like forever, and then come home to various women in our living room, in which she spoke life into, in her prayer circles. All of whom were excited to receive some of her Godly wisdom. She had rare insight that would pierce you immediately but soften because it came with so much pure love. As a child, I selfishly was resentful of my mom’s calling, it seemed that she was always pouring into other women and no matter if they were family, friends or someone that she was just introduced to, they always seemed to be drawn to her anointing and no matter what, she would continue to pour. My momma continued to pour, literally, until her last breath. For the longest time, I struggled with not only her calling but the legacy she left behind, BUT Evon not only instilled in me the importance of having a relationship with God but the intentionality, obedience and sacrifice that was needed to follow Him with everything in me. To pour until my vessel was emptied by the Father and He too would tell me well done. With no hesitation, I can finally say that I am ready to pour…

Hence, The Alabaster Sanctuary (Matthew 26:6-13, Mark 14:3-9, and Luke 7:36-50). I want to bring my momma’s prayer calls, circles and overflowing pouring, into women who are devoted to God and who need to be met exactly where they are on their journey with Him. Met with agape love, understanding, and no judgement. The Alabaster Sanctuary will be dedicated to creating a global sanctuary where Christian women can find refuge, renewal, and authentic sisterhood through divine connection. Long story short, I am hoping to take the prayer calls further into the present/future, with virtual prayer rooms. Where women globally can pour into each other. Help the Kingdom of God not just be a spiritual experience but a virtual one.

This vision God gave to me is not a small one by any means, but I know with the support of other believers, family and friends; it can come into fruition. Ultimately, I want to give God all the glory and honor that He is due and I know if I can do that and honor the woman that poured continuously into me and who introduced me to that very God, then all is well.

Just like there is no me without Evon, there is no me without Steve. My daddy prayed over my vision and shared with me that God would not let me do this alone, that He would send the help I need. My “tech-challenged” father suggested that I share it with others, so in obedience to him I am asking that if God lays it upon your heart to sow a seed into this calling that you do so in full confidence; knowing that your seed will be planted in blessed soil with a strong foundation and it will be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28, 9:1, 9:7 and 35:11; Matthew 7:24-27; 2 Corinthians 4:18). Your generous seed will help fund the foundational steps of establishing this nonprofit, which is currently in the process of formation. Your support will be used for essential startup expenses such as incorporation, legal filing fees, and the initial phases of our launch. While donations at this time are not tax-deductible, your contribution is a vital investment in the vision God has placed before us. We are deeply grateful for your prayers, your support, and the seed you sow into His Kingdom. God bless you, and thank you in advance.
