About this fundraiser

Hi everyone, my name is Sheana. I am a full-time pharmacy technician, and I am reaching out to my community to help bridge a gap for my daughter, Scarlett.

Working in healthcare, I know how important stability and care are. For Scarlett, the Boys & Girls Club has been that place of stability—a safe environment where she learns and grows while I am at work serving our patients.

Recently, we hit a major hurdle. Despite working full-time, an unexpected denial of childcare assistance has left us with an outstanding balance of $1,966 for her program fees from December through March.

The Challenge: As a healthcare worker, my shift hours are set, and they don’t align with school dismissal. Without this after-school program, I am faced with an impossible situation: if I cannot secure Scarlett’s spot in this program, I will be unable to keep my job. I am committed to my work and to providing for my daughter, but this past-due balance is a mountain I cannot climb alone.

The Boys & Girls Club has generously offered us an 80% scholarship for all future fees, but we must clear this previous balance to remain enrolled.

Goal 1: $1,966 to clear the outstanding childcare balance.

Goal 2: $1,000 to help cover upcoming rent and essential utility costs (water bill) during this transition.

Every dollar donated goes directly toward keeping our home stable and ensuring Scarlett has a safe place to go after school so I can stay on the job.

If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page. It takes a village, and I am so grateful to be part of yours.

Thank you for your kindness and support.
