We’re asking for support for one of our own, firefighter Tim McElrath.

Tim has been out of work since before Thanksgiving due to a serious and life-threatening illness. He has suffered from severe necrotizing pancreatitis, along with pneumonia and a collapsed lung. He has undergone multiple surgeries to remove dead tissue from his pancreas and has had stents placed to drain fluid from his abdomen. He continues to require frequent hospital care and is still awaiting gallbladder removal, with a long recovery ahead.

Anyone who knows Tim knows he’s a hard-working guy who would give the shirt off his back to help someone else. He would never ask for help himself, so we’re doing it for him. 

Medical bills are piling up quickly. Tim’s wife is unable to work due to her own medical issues, and they are caring for their 16-year-old daughter while navigating this difficult time.
