Hi, my name is Vanessa Moorman. AKA, Nana and now great Nan. I don't believe anyone wants to write a post such as this but sometimes things are out of our control. I have loved and raised many babies in my life time but now my heart is filled with even a deeper love.
I am reaching out for help for my great grandson, Khaliel Kash Thompson and his parents Aalohna and Jamison (my grandson) Khaliel was born at 23 weeks on May 27th, weighing in at 1 lb 4oz. and dropped down to .97 lbs. He is what they call a micro preemie. He is currently in the NICU at Nortons Children's Hospital. Khaliel is now up to 4lbs and his due date was September21st. He has a lot of medical issues going on, but he is a fighter. And God is watching over him.
These 2 young parents are trying to secure their son's future but it has been hard with all the expenses of gas, going back and forth from E-town to Louisville 2, 3 and sometimes more days a week, plus his car needs a lot of work. I pray it makes it everytime he drives it. That on top of all the other miscellaneous expenses. It is and has been extremely hard to keep up. They are under alot of emotional stress as well as financial. It has taking a toll on them.
(UPDATE) We don’t know how long baby Khaliel will be in the hospital. But we do know he still has a long road ahead of him. He has reached and made it past his due date which was September 21st. Praising God for that milestone. He has grown from .97 pounds now up to 4 lbs and 12 oz. He is our miracle baby. Even through all the surgerie and procedure he is a fighter. I know God has special plans for him.
They don't know Im doing this, but it is and has been a struggle. Please, if you can and will find it in your heart to donate to this precious family it will be greatly appreciated. If you can't that is understandable,. We would appreciate all the prayers we can get.
Thank you in advance from the bottom of my heart and may God bless you all.
