About this fundraiser

Hi Friends and Family,

This isn’t easy to write, but we’ve come to learn that love and vulnerability often go hand-in-hand. As two very private people, sharing this part of our journey takes courage—but it’s a necessary step toward building the family we’ve dreamed about for over a decade.

Jennifer and I met in 2012 and, believe it or not, we picked out our baby names back in 2013. Parenthood has always been part of our vision—woven into the fabric of our love from the very beginning.

Today, we’re asking for help and support to afford multiple vials of donor sperm, an essential and costly part of our IVF process. Each vial represents a real opportunity to make our dreams come true, but with insurance covering none of the treatment beyond diagnostic testing, the financial burden falls completely on us with the total cost reaching $5,500. Despite applying for loans and doing everything possible to secure funding, we’ve been met with repeated denials.

We chose IVF because it gives us the chance to grow our family with love, biology, and hope. Our goal is for me, Kassandra, to carry Jennifer’s embryo—something that’s deeply meaningful to both of us. Because of our ages (Jennifer is 34 and I’m 31), timing is a sensitive and important factor. We’re working against biology, and every delay feels heavier.

Jennifer has always been nurturing—whether caring for younger cousins or soothing the babies of friends, her love for children is beautifully natural. I’ve spent the last eight years working with children on the autism spectrum, and I can say with all my heart that being part of their lives has only deepened my desire to be a mom. We are ready. We just need a little help to get there.

Thank you for reading, for listening, and for being part of this with us. Please don’t feel any pressure to donate—whether it’s emotional support, financial help, or simply sending love our way—we are deeply grateful for every ounce of it. Simply sharing our story helps more than you know. Jennifer and I continue to work hard and cover as much as we can ourselves, and every bit of help—big or small—brings us closer to growing our family. We’re sending love and gratitude your way 💛.

With hope, heart, and thanks, Kassandra & Jennifer💛
