About this fundraiser

Hi everyone! My name is Brayden Futrell and I am currently a Sophomore at Oklahoma state university studying clinical psychology. I have been given the incredible opportunity to join a GIVE volunteer program in Thailand, where I’ll be working on both elephant conservation in the jungle and marine conservation along the coast.

In Northern Thailand, I will live in the jungle alongside rescued elephants, helping care for them, maintaining their habitat, and learning from local caretakers about their culture and conservation traditions.

Eight days later, I will travel south to earn my scuba certification and assist with coral reef restoration. I’ll be diving to monitor reef health, and support beach clean-up projects that protect marine life and coastal communities.

Your support will directly help me cover the costs of program fees needed for this volunteer work. The $5,190 needed for this trip will cover everything the whole time that I am gone. That includes my food, lodging, and everything else. Every contribution, big or small, will make a huge difference.

This trip means so much to me because it combines my passion for wildlife, the ocean, and helping small communities. This specific trip will allow me to give back while also gaining school credit. I will be able to see a part of the world I never thought would be possible for me.

By supporting me, you’ll not only help me grow as a person but also make a real impact on elephants, coral reefs, and the local people of Thailand.

I am so grateful for any help you can give, and I promise to share updates and photos from my journey so you can see the difference your support has made.

Thank you for believing in me and in this cause! 🌍💙🐘🐠
