At this moment, my wife and I are desperate to get into our own home. My wife is disabled. She has hydrocephalus (from birth), cerebral palsy (on her left side), severe anxiety, and depression (as well as other health issues). Our funds are pretty dire due to medical bills and our living situation. At this moment we're renting a single room from a verbally and mentally abusive family member. We have no other family that can help us. Due to working full time and taking care of my wife, I've had many issues trying to get us into a better situation. Our credit isn't good, so we've been unable to rent a home or secure a loan to purchase one. We have an opportunity to get into a home nearby. A longtime friend has a home that we can get into with low monthly payments. He's taken the price down to help us; however, we need a minimum amount of $8,700 to put down on the home. He's holding the home for a couple months for us to try to get help. We don't have any furniture except an air mattress, but it comes with all appliances. I'm so desperate to get my wife out of the situation we're in and give us both even a little peace of mind and better our physical and mental health. The help you would give would be more valuable than gold to us. Please, ANY help would be so appreciated. I don't have anything of value to sell, and my body can't do the labor that I used to do.
