My daughter Adrianne is 22 and has been in a wheelchair her whole life. She is unable to help get in and out of a vehicle in any way. She solely relies upon someone to physically assist her. There are times she gets so excited that she will stiffen her whole body out straight and it makes it extremely difficult to get her in or out of the car. Having a wheelchair van would make transportation a whole lot easier and less stressful on myself and Adrianne. I am looking to raise funds to purchase a wheelchair van or a decent used van that could be converted to a wheelchair van. Thank you for reading my story and any help would be greatly appreciated!
