I'm a 66 yr old widow and I had an accident by falling off my daybed.  I broke the C2 bone in my neck, bruised my chest wall.   I am recovering however I still need to see the orthopedic Dr and then more than likely a physical therapist and/or chiropractor. 

I am still trying to work my full time job which thankfully I work from home as a medical claim examiner.  I can't afford to lose my job. Plus being a widow I honestly enjoy working at this point of time in my life. 

The funds I am trying to raise will go towards helping me get the ac repaired in my vehicle.  I have COPD also and driving back and forth to the upcoming Dr apt in the hot temps we are having will end up causing me to have a COPD flare up and end up in the hospital once again. 

My neighbors granddaughter has agreed to help me with the trips back and forth by driving my vehicle for me. I can't lift my head up enough to safely see the road! 

The funds will also go towards the medical expenses of having to see multiple provider's.  Unfortunately my income that I do make goes towards paying my rent, all utilities, the multiple medications I pay for.   I had a heart attack also 2 yrs ago and now have 3 stents in my heart. 

I'm trying to remain as independent as I can. I've never asked for help with anything my entire adult life. I don't receive any state assistance.   I believe that assistance like that needs to go to the citizens that truly need the extra help! 

I will greatly appreciate any help I can get, and I want everyone reading this post to know that I'm not comfortable asking for help but I truly need it at this point in my life. If I can get the ac fixed, and be able to get back and forth to the appointments then my life will return to the life I'm trying to maintain for myself.
