My mother was a remarkable woman who not only loved her kids with everything she had but anyone else that was lucky enough to truly know her. Unfortunately, her shortened life ended with a lot of struggle and pain that she did not deserve and a financial stress in her final years for her very small family as well. As her body took a massive toll through treatments, and the lack of proper end-of-life care, we’ve chosen to cremate. The care she received for her very last days at Ascension Resurrection Hospital  in Chicago after an emergency landing on her way to hospice at my home was an incredible blessing. the fact that we could be there with her at the end, and organize her cremation with a caring facility was the best gift we could have. Any help in supplementing the financial burden is so very appreciated. If any excess is raised it will go to a Domestic Violence fund that I will be creating in her honor after her memorial.
