Hello everyone, my name is Chante Barrett. 
Once, my world was filled with rich sounds: the beautiful melodies of music, the laughter of friends and relatives, the chirping of birds in the morning, and those subtle yet precious sounds in daily life. But unfortunately, my hearing is deteriorating. I have contracted [specific ear diseases, such as: severe chronic otitis media / otosclerosis / sensorineural deafness requiring an implanted cochlear implant], which has gradually plunged me into a silent and isolated world. Conversations have become indistinct, and I have to frequently ask others to repeat themselves, which causes me immense pressure and loneliness in social and work situations. I can no longer clearly hear the voices of the people I love, which breaks my heart. 
After multiple examinations and consultations, the specialist doctor gave me a clear hope: a complex [specific surgical procedure, such as: tympanoplasty / stapedectomy / cochlear implantation] could significantly improve or even restore my hearing. This is not just a single surgery; it is the lifeline that allows me to return to a normal life and reconnect with the people I love. 
However, hope comes with great challenges. The cost of this surgery, as well as the subsequent rehabilitation treatment and the cost of adjusting the hearing equipment, is an unbearable burden for me personally.
