At 84 years old, Janet K. has spent a lifetime putting others before herself. For decades, she dedicated her heart to caring for children with disabilities and orphaned children, giving countless young people the love, compassion, and support they deserved. She never asked for anything in return.

After the unexpected loss of her beloved husband just a few years ago, Janet has faced life on her own while battling serious health challenges. She now depends on dialysis to stay alive. Each treatment costs $750, and she requires three four-hour treatments every week—a life-sustaining expense totaling $2,250 every week, not including her other medical and daily living costs.
