Help Me Keep Fighting for My Children
If you know me, you know this isn't something I ever thought I'd write.
For the last 15 years, I've built a career flipping houses and investing in real estate. Along the way, I've had the privilege of helping countless people start businesses, learn real estate investing, and chase dreams they didn't think were possible. I've taught classes, answered hundreds of phone calls and messages, and shared everything I've learned without ever charging for my time. I've always believed that knowledge is meant to be shared.
Over the past several years, I also completely transformed my health. I lost more than 120 pounds, have kept it off for over three years, and survived life-threatening complications after weight-loss surgery. That journey gave me a new purpose—helping others navigate weight loss, hormone changes, and learning to love themselves again.
Helping people has never felt like work. It's simply who I am.
Today, though, I'm the one asking for help.
Every morning starts the same way. I make a cup of coffee, my pups curl up beside me, I open my Bible app, and I pray. I ask God for wisdom, peace, strength, and direction. Some mornings I ask Him why this road has been so difficult. Most mornings I simply ask Him to help me keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Because I know one thing with absolute certainty...
My children are worth every step.
I'm currently in the middle of a custody battle that has become far more emotionally and financially demanding than I ever imagined. Every hearing, every filing, every conversation with my attorney, and every unexpected turn brings another expense.
There are days I think I've finally caught my breath, only to be met with another challenge. More times than I'd like to admit, I've found myself sitting on the floor of my closet, praying through tears, asking God to remind me that He hasn't let go of us.
But I always get back up.
Because that's what moms do.
My goal is to raise $50,000 to help cover attorney fees, court costs, and the legal expenses required to continue fighting for my children. I never imagined I would be in this position, and I certainly never imagined how expensive it would be to protect the people I love most.
If you've ever learned something from me, attended one of my classes, followed one of my house flips, watched my health journey, asked me for advice, or simply believe in helping someone who's spent years pouring into others, I humbly ask for your support.
Whether you can donate $5, $500 or $5000, every contribution brings me one step closer to continuing this fight. And if giving isn't possible right now, sharing this fundraiser with your family and friends would mean the world to me.
For years, I've believed that the greatest investment we can make is in people.
Today, I'm asking you to invest in my family.
Thank you for every prayer, every share, every donation, and every encouraging message. Your kindness reminds me that even during life's hardest seasons, God often answers our prayers through the hearts of other people.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
With love and gratitude,
Lea Tallo
