About this fundraiser

This is something I never thought I would do, but after praying on it for a couple of weeks, I am laying my pride down and asking for help.

I am a 64 year old widow on disability and the first of August 2025, I had a heart attack that destroyed the bottom of my heart.  I was knocking on deaths doorstep by the time I got to the hospital.  While there for 2 weeks, I received pints of blood (I also have 3 bleeds in my stomach that will have to be repaired soon), meds to drain off 30 pounds of fluid, a pace maker and a defibulator and was put on an IV drip 24/7 of milirone to keep me alive.  This medicine will go from 16.00/week to almost 200.00 next month, even with my insurance, and I make about 50 dollars a year to get any assistance.

I am currently living my daughter, who at 41, had a stroke the first of July that has left her with severe nerve/muscle damage on her left side and a brain injury that resulted from the stroke.  She is out on medical short term disability, but they are saying she won't be covered after the end of this month, so she would be on leave with no pay until released to go back to work after she sees a neuro doctor in Dec.  Her husband is having shoulder surgery this month, aut on workers comp, so his salary will be reduced as well.  They have a 12 year old daughter and she is the love their life.

With all the medical things I have, medicine, doctors, hospitals, I haven't been able to pay on my taxes and am close to losing it after it has been paid for and my cars check engine light came on, and I guess the wear and tear going back and forth to doctors has taken its toll.  If my car lays down on me, I can't afford to get another one right now.

So there is all of the problems I have in my life right now, but I know God would not lead me to it if He isn't going to lead me through it.  If you can't donate, PLEASE PLEASE keep our family in yours prayers, as that is what we are living on right now!
