Hi, my name is Asri, and I never imagined I’d find myself having to ask for help like this.

I’m currently going through a very difficult financial situation, and I’m two months behind on the mortgage payments for the home where my family and I live. Although the house is not in my name, I have been making the mortgage payments and carrying the majority of our household expenses for the past four years.

Before that, my Uncle and I shared the responsibility of keeping up with the mortgage. Unfortunately, he became seriously ill and has been bedridden and unable to work for the past several years. Since then, I’ve been the only person in our household working and doing everything I can to keep us afloat.

I used to work 40 hours a week, which allowed me to keep up with our bills. Unfortunately, the location where I worked closed down about a year ago. I transferred to another location, but I’m now only getting about half the hours I used to. I’ve been doing my best to pick up extra hours whenever I can, but it still hasn’t been enough to catch up.

I’ve exhausted the options I had available to me. I’ve tried loans, cash advances, and other ways of borrowing money, but I haven’t been able to get the help I need. I’m at the point where I honestly don’t know what else to do.

Asking for money is incredibly difficult and embarrassing for me. I’m not someone who normally asks others for help, but I’m trying to put my pride aside because keeping a roof over my family’s heads is more important than my embarrassment.

If you’re able to contribute anything, no matter how small, I would be incredibly grateful. Every dollar would go toward helping me catch up on the mortgage and keep our home from falling further behind.
