On May 10, 2026, our beloved mother Shirley Ann Williams passed away unexpectedly while in custody at the Alachua County Jail. She was only 68 years old, and her sudden loss has left our family heartbroken and searching for answers. We were told she was being checked every 15 minutes, but we believe she was not properly supervised. The delay in notifying us of her passing only adds to our pain. Shirley was a mother, grandmother, and loved one who deserved care and compassion. We are struggling to cover funeral and burial expenses and are asking for your help during this difficult time.
